Editorial policy
Vibrant Screen Journal aims to make screen storytelling easier to examine without overstating what an example can prove. We value clear explanations, careful wording and transparent corrections.
Accuracy and interpretation
We check factual statements against suitable published material and review the context of examples before making claims about them. Interpretations are presented as readings, not settled facts. We avoid implying that a single scene or convention proves a universal rule.
Independence
Editorial choices are made for their relevance to readers and the subject matter. A commercial relationship does not buy a favourable opinion or control over editorial conclusions. If a piece has a relevant connection that could affect how it is read, we explain that connection clearly.
Corrections
If you spot an error, contact us with the article title, the detail in question and any helpful context. We assess correction requests and amend material when warranted; significant changes are identified clearly so readers can understand what changed.
Partnerships and illustrations
Paid or partner material is labelled plainly and kept distinct from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary images.
Every screen choice guides attention
A frame, a pause or a sound can change what a scene asks us to notice. We break down those choices in clear language, leaving room for different readings.
